Custom Fields

Use Custom Fields to view an alphabetical list of all active custom fields. The screen contains associated data and valid data values for each custom field.

To view and update custom fields:

  1.  Click employee | Personal Information | Custom Fields.

  2. Type or select the value for a specific custom field. As a result, the system automatically displays the value in all of the screens in which this custom field is located. For a drop-down list, radio button, or checklist, select the appropriate value from the list.

Note:    

For a text field, the value can be alphanumeric.

Example:

There may be a custom field in which the employee can type a company car license number. You can type a license plate number as the value for that field even though it is a text field.

  1. Repeat the steps above to enter or update the type of data you can enter for all applicable custom fields.
     

  2. Click Save.
