Submit PTO Request

To submit a time off request:

  1. Click employee | Compensation | Attendance/Time-Off.

  2. Click Submit PTO Request. The PTO Request screen displays.

  3. Type the date of your time off request in the PTO Date: field or click the calendar icon next to the PTO Date: field to select a date.

  4. Select your time off type in the PTO Type: drop-down menu.

  5. Type the number of hours of time off you want to take per day in Time Requested: field. Click Submit if you are requesting one day off.  If you are requesting more than one day off, follow the rest of this procedure.

  6. To request more than one day in a row, click Auto-Fill.

  1. Type the date you will return from PTO in the Date Returning to Work: field or click the calendar icon next to the Date Returning to Work: field to select a date.

  2. Click the applicable Exclude Days check boxes to indicate the days of the week that you would not normally be paid during your absence.

Example:

If you work Monday through Friday, click the Sa (Saturday) and Su (Sunday) check boxes.

  1. Type notes in the Notes: field if you need to explain the purpose of your request to the administrator or supervisor. If you would like to time stamp your notes, click Time Stamp.

  2. Click Submit. The time off request is sent to your administrator or supervisor for approval. You receive a message in the Message Center informing you when the PTO Request is approved or denied.
