Taleo Access

Before any Paychex HR Online feature that depends on information entered in the Taleo Applicant Tracking system becomes available (for example, Hire/Rehire Employee), an administrator with appropriate access rights must set up the connection between the two systems. This allows the Paychex HR Online system to access the Taleo system through the company's Web Application Program Interface (API).

To access the Taleo Access screen, click company setup | Security | Taleo Access.

Set Up the Connection

  1. Access the Taleo Access screen.

  2. Click Edit Taleo Access Information. The system displays the Edit Taleo Access screen.

  3.  Enter your company's:

  4. Click Save. This establishes the connection between Taleo and Paychex HR Online, and allows Taleo information to be transferred.

Update Taleo Access Information

The information on this screen must be synchronized with the API user name, company code, and password in Taleo to maintain the connection between Taleo and Paychex HR Online. Duplicate any edits to information within Taleo here.

  1. Click Edit Taleo Access Information (top of the Taleo Access screen). The Edit Taleo Access screen displays.

  2. Update any information changed within the Taleo application.
